This is my 1st time using this fotoblog... quite interesting
UK Law...The Big Issues on children photography... the law doesn't theoretically distinguish much between adult and child subjects. We can normally photograph anyone in a public place, law or harasment and privacy notwithstanding. Some parents are naturally concerned about the welfare of their children and the media has made many parents suspicous of anyone with a camera near their children. (Digital Camera March 2006:77-83).
Malaysia Law...There's no such implementation of this law in Malaysia...but it will exist in few year time...
Do carry on shooting in public placeswhere kids happen to be present, but be prepare to answer to parents and Don't expect to be able to take pictures of kids in schools or parks without permission.
This photo was taken on 4th February 2006 around 3pm. I went to Newcastle to visit my wife's aunt who came here for business trip. Trying to capture some images from different angles of 'Angel of the north' and i manage to spend for about 15mins before the sunsets. The graduated ND helped me to emphasize the overcast sky and together with the sunset. It's a magical place to be and definetely worth a visit...
